Are you okay? Emergency/Crisis UOIT Home

NCHA

UOIT is interested in assessing student health behaviours in order to provide better services and support for UOIT students. You may benefit by knowing that you have assisted in providing accurate information regarding health and wellness behaviours on our campus. The information will be used to develop and enhance wellness programs and services for students at UOIT. All students who participate will be entered into a draw to win $1000 towards their tuition.

There are two ways to get involved:

  1. You may have received an email to complete a web survey from NCHA.  You can find out more information about the National College Health Assessment here.
  2. If you did not receive an email, you are welcome to participate in a focus group to share some of your experiences regarding health and wellness. See below to view dates and register for a focus group.  You do not get multiple entries into the draw if you fill out the survey and attend a focus group.

Note: there may be some personal discomfort with the content of certain questions. For example, there are questions regarding illegal substance use and interpersonal violence. If you choose to attend a focus group or fill out the online survey, know that you are not obligated to answer all questions and may leave the survey or focus group at any time due to discomfort.
