Test, Midterm and Final Exam Sign-Up Instructions

Students must sign up at least seven (7) days before all tests and midterms.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Portal: uoit.ca/sasportal
  2. Click on 'Book a Test or Exam'.
  3. Click on 'BOOK A TEST, MIDTERM OR QUIZ' (blue button).
  4. Log in using your network login information:
    User name: Student ID Number (9-digits).
    Password: Same as the one you use to log in into Blackboard.
  5. Read the 'ONLINE TEST BOOKING' information.
  6. Click 'Next'.
  7. Select the course you would like to schedule a test for from the menu bar.
  8. Click 'Next'.
  9. Enter the date, time and duration of your test.
  10. Click 'Next'.
  11. Select your accommodations required for the test.
  12. Click 'Next'.
  13. If you have extra time as your accommodation or if your test is outside of Test Centre hours, your test time may be adjusted by the Test Centre.
  14. Click 'Next'.
  15. Confirm the details of your test booking. If you need to change any details, click on the 'Previous' button. Once you have verified that all the information is correct, click on the 'The information I am submitting is correct to the best of my knowledge' box.
  16. Click 'Finish'.
  17. You will receive a confirmation to your uoit.net email. This can take up to two (2) minutes, so please be patient. Be sure to record the location, date and time of your test.

Scheduling Conflicts

NOTE: If you know at the time of booking that you have a scheduling conflict, such as your accommodated test time and class time overlap, you must book based on the actual class test time. Then send an email with the details to sastestcentre@uoit.ca so that the Accessibility Services Coordinator can follow up with your professor to make the appropriate adjustments.

Students must sign up at least three (3) weeks before the start of the examination period.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Portal: uoit.ca/sasportal
  2. Click on 'Book a Test or Exam'.
  3. Click on 'BOOK YOUR FINAL EXAMS' (purple button).
  4. Log in using your network login information: 
    User name: Student ID Number (9-digits).
    Password: Same as the one you use to log in into Blackboard.
  5. Read the 'ONLINE FINAL EXAM BOOKING' information.
  6. Click 'Next'.
  7. For each exam you wish to write in the Test Centre, select the box in the first column.
  8. Click 'Next'.
  9. Select the accommodation(s) for each exam by checking off the appropriate boxes.
  10. Click 'Next'.
  11. Confirm the details of your test booking. If you need to change any details, click on the 'Previous' button. Once you have verified that all the information is correct, click on the 'I acknowledge that the information I am submitting is correct to the best of my knowledge' box. 
  12. Click 'Finish'.
  13. You will receive a confirmation for your submission to your uoit.net email. This can take up to two (2) minutes, so please be patient. Be sure to record the date and time of your test.

FINAL EXAM BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS (PDF)

NOTE: You may register and submit exams individually or all at once. You cannot edit your selections after submission. Once you have successfully registered, you may check your scheduled exams by selecting My Schedule in the SAS Portal. If you have a conflict with the timing of your exam(s) due to your accommodations, email sastestcentre@uoit.ca with an explanation of the conflict. The Accessibility Services Coordinator will notify you once alternate arrangements have been made.

If you have any problems registering online for any reason, it is your responsibility to come to the Test Centre office for further instructions before the sign-up deadline.
