Let's Talk Equity Discussion Groups

Over the months of November and December 2018, Student Engagement and Equity launched the Let’s Talk Equity campaign which is a series of events and programming focused on encouraging conversations about equity and inclusion. Members of the university community were encouraged to join the conversation online through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram by following @UOITStudentLife.

Starting January 2019, the conversation will continue online as well, we are adding an in-person component through the launch of our Let’s Talk Equity Discussion Groups. These discussion groups are an opportunity for students to connect with peers and staff who are there to have discussions related to multiple aspects of one’s identity.

The groups are drop-in, there will be snacks and we encourage progressive dialogue focused on sharing knowledge and building community.
