Orientation options

Summer and Fall Orientation

  • Ignite

    Ignite is the third part of your summer and fall Orientation. As an incoming student, you will:

    • Participate in two days of fun campus activities and traditions unique to our university.
    • Familiarize yourself with the campus.
    • Learn how to get the most from your university experience.
    • Meet new friends, faculty and staff.

    Prepare yourself for success in your first year by learning from upper-year students who volunteer their time to welcome you to our community.

  • International Student Orientation

    International Student Orientation is a one-day Orientation for both graduate and undergraduate international, exchange and visiting students. You will meet your peers and learn about programs and services specific to you.

  • MTPS Orientation

    Intended for Mature, Transfer and Pathways (MTP) undergraduate and graduate students, this Orientation will give you the opportunity to meet students and learn about technologies and services specific to you as one of our MTP students.

Winter Orientation

  • Winter Orientation

    This Orientation program is intended for new students starting their program at our university in the winter term. Orientation will provide you with the opportunity to:

    • Familiarize yourself with the campus and its services.
    • Learn how to get the most from your university experience.
    • Meet fellow Mature, Transfer and Pathways students, as well as faculty and staff.

Spring Orientation

  • MTPS Orientation

    This Orientation program is intended for new students starting their program in the spring and summer term. Orientation will provide you with the opportunity to:

    • Familiarize yourself with the campus and its services.
    • Learn how to get the most from your university experience.
